Based in a small town, we are very character and story focused! We want you to be creative and have fun.
Drowning in Fables is the place to make your own stories. The sky is really the limit, as we don't want to stifle your creativity. Move in to Lake of the Pines and be a part of the big, little, family. Or go to Plattsburg. There you can lose yourself, find yourself, or find someone else. No matter what you do, you'll always find your place.
We're accepting members! Can't wait to see you there!
LAA Is a canon & OC Marvel RP that crosses both the MCU and the 616 universe giving people plenty of history and backstory to work with!
Are you looking for a brand new site that offers an open, adaptive storyline with the chance to link up movies, TV shows and comics? Are you looking for a friendly open environment that encourages creativity and character driven storylines? Do you look at a character and dream of all the ways you could take their story? Well, this is the place for you!
We could be legends is an open Marvel site based where the MCU meets the 616 Universe instead of the Ultimates verse so we do have some canon divergences, which means there's potential for not only your character - TV or movie - having a bigger, bad ass role but there's also potential for evil like you've never seen before.
You play the character. You drive the story. You shape the world.
Dr. Hans Merwin began experimenting with combining human and animal DNA in 1984 with hopes of giving humans the amazing evolutionary adaptations of other animals. His project produced its first live birth of a human-animal hybrid in 1993 and the project was labeled a success. After an incident in 2002, the project was shut down and the hybrid children relocated to a compound in Latvia where they were kept separate from the rest of the world. Four years after the Accident, a new laboratory was established in Latvia and the project continued in secret, producing new hybrids. The hybrids live in completely different worlds from each other. Many still reside in the open compound, free from the constant tests and training of the scientists, while some have only known the concrete walls and strict regimens of their human caretakers.
Sparkling Creek Valley is a semi-realistic animal/human rpg with a focus on canines. We are open to creativity, with as few rules as possible to give members the freedom to play their characters as they like, with focus on character interaction and storytelling rather than competition for points or power. We offer numerous boards to give characters a richer, more detailed universe to play in, and are very flexible and open to taking new suggestions and ideas from our members.
Whether you enjoy extravagant, drama-filled plots or quieter, every day interactions with your characters, Sparkling Creek Valley caters to both, and everything in between. We're waiting to hear your story.
Sparkling Creek Valley is a semi-realistic game, set in modern times, in a fictional location. Neverthere is an original supernatural RP with extremely flexible activity guidelines and a freeform history application that also acts as your shipper. Set in the modern day city of Neverthere, Oregon, players can choose between a variety of species groups and affiliations. Players are also encouraged to participate in site events or they're free to start group subplots on their own!
Welcome to the Pacific Northwest.
Neverthere is a bustling, large town located near the northern coast of Oregon, at the mouth of the Columbia River. Humans have inhabited Columbia’s watershed for more than 15,000 years, but in all that time they’ve never been alone. There has always been whispers of something darker in the thick, wild forests; something watching. In Neverthere the supernaturals have managed to keep their community and kind hidden. But something old and once silenced is starting to stir...
Our game takes place in the fictional city of Neverthere, Oregon. It is located near the coast of the Pacific ocean. In the growing but small city, the supernatural community has remained hidden thanks to the hard work of the Keepers of the Veil, an alliance of the local supernatural groups. There are a myriad of creatures that live in Neverthere, but the peace held between the covens, packs, and the Council is shaky at best.
Downtown, a shiny chrome building rises above the rest: GENETECH. It's reputation is as clean as its prisitine marbled lobby. The drug developer has been in town as long as Neverthere has been a town. There's more to the pharma giant than meets the eye, though, something else lurking below that sparkling corporate headquarters.

This is an alternative history, or world, to France and the rest of Europe. They are a race of people are descendant of Elua and his Companions. They have a beauty and grace that makes them stand out from other people. They have advanced their society to include thing like pressed paper, printing press, bound books, running taps (in the more influential houses), and the practicing of mystic arts. They still travel by horse, carriage, wind powered boats, and their own two feet.
They follow the main practice of "Love as thou wilt" handed down to them from Elua themselves.
The King sent Soldiers and Navy to aid their Allies,
The Cruithne, after they were invaded by Gotland.
But now peace talks and negotiations are dragging on and on.
The people are missing their loved ones who had been sent to fight
and the Nobles murmur about what action the King will do now.
Not to mention the rising of Gang activity in the City
causing unrest in the City of Elua.
The world has fallen, and the undead have taken over. It's a story we've all heard hundreds of times. For roleplayers looking for a twist on this classic formula, Remnants is the place for you!
Remnants is a forum roleplay in which everyone over the age of 16 has been turned into flesh-hungry zombies. Now, it's up to the children of the world, to rebuild.
Remnants is a forum roleplay in which everyone over the age of 16 has been turned into flesh-hungry zombies. Now, it's up to the children of the world, to rebuild.
This roleplay includes different factions, all of which hold their own space in the landscape of fallen Seattle.
The City Council - As far as these kids are concerned, laws are the backbone of civilization. They live in the Space Needle, and have the power to create forcefields.
The Legion - In direct opposition to the Council, these kids view life as little more than one long battle. They live in Pike Place Market, and have the power to enhance their fighting abilities.
The Pacifics - These kids are split into two factions: Those dedicated to faith, and those dedicated to science. They live in the Pacific Science Center, and have the power of divination. The two factions constantly find themselves at odds.
The Kids of the Pasture - These kids have dedicated their lives to service of a deity whom they call The Core-- a deity who lives at the center of the Earth and who can only be worshiped via planting crops, as the roots are believed to nourish this god. They live in Chihuly Glass and Garden, and have the power to control animals (and, possibly, even humans.)
The Jackals - These kids have no care for law, order, or structure. They are rogues, with only a home base uniting them. They live in the Seattle Central Monorail, and have the power of illusion.
The Boardwalk Kids - These kids are perceived as being incredibly brave, but, despite a perfect-seeming exterior, the boardwalk kids live under the constant fear of being thrown out of their home, if they inspire their leader's ire. They live in the Seattle Aquarium, and have the power to enhance their natural abilities.
These are only the current groups in Remnants. The world is changing, and with a new evil encroaching, everything will soon change. Join Remnants Today!
Remnants now has an official trailer! See it here.
In Bayou Savage, you’ll find nonhuman and human living side-by-side. Covens of witches, nests of vampires, packs of wolves, entire pantheons call Bayou Savage their home. The Society watches over the supernaturally inclined, weeding out any who seek to destroy their town. As a supernatural in Bayou Savage, you obey the Society’s rules; should you not... Well, you’ll just have to come to find out what happens to disobedient people.
Bayou Saváge has been around since the early 1800s. The city is considered one of the cleanest and most friendly according to Forbes magazine. Nestled between two lakes and deep woods. The little city has its charm. However, there are also some speculations about the town. It was once believed witchcraft was heavily practiced and the witches that were caught were heavily prosecuted. Among that, there were even claims of seeing large beasts in the woods. Despite these alleged rumors, the town had become one of the safest places to live in the last 100 or so years… until recently.
Some people have gone missing. It was very subtle until it became not so subtle. A body was found by the lake drained of their blood. People have come to believe there is a murderer on the loose. Though the Police department has not released very much information
We've been open for almost 4 months, our community is friendly and we'd love to see new faces! It's easy to integrate you're characters on our site, staff is always around to help!

AIVAS' plan worked, and Thread has been gone from Pern for centuries. Life flourished, and all was good - until Earth once again remembered about Pern. Earth sought to take advantage of Pern's psychically powerful dragonkin and their Bonded, thinking up profitable ways to utilise such pairings, from the mundane to the military.
Seeking to preserve their way of life, one Weyr took to the stars in search of a new home - and found Xentia. Now they face the challenge of building a new home on a hostile planet, learning new ways to survive.
Will you join the people of Starwatch Weyr in writing this page of their history?
Set on the alien world of Xentia, Starwatch Weyr follows refugees from Pern as they attempt to carve out a new home for themselves. Fleeing a Pern rediscovered by a greedy, grasping Earth, the motley crew of mixed folk find themselves contending with a planet that is, in theory, hospitable. However, as players explore and discover more of their new home, dangerous beasties and perilous environments will become apparent.
We offer non-sexuality or gender based impressions, player created species to encounter or play, and some good ol' fashioned camping - because a Weyr has to start someplace.
- The clutches of the twin Queens, Aywith and Faranath, are on the Hatching Sands, and awaiting candidates.
- Contact has been made with one of Xentia's native races - the lizard-like Ja'kar.
- Icacia and her gold, Kestrith, have begun to explore the nearby dead volcano in hopes of making it into a new home for the refugees.
- The refugees are running low on medical supplies - namely the painkiller and anaesthetic, fellis

The Holes We've Left is an anime/manga/manhwa based universe that is centralized around Tokyo. Following a narrative of crime, drama, and slice of life, the stories we tell revolve around realistic situations and follow a more real life type of standard.
We are a Dragon Ball centric, stat-based roleplay which focused on the feeling of 'adventure' over being purely focused on battles, and which focuses on Earth rather than Earth and space at large. We've got a large variety of races to choose from, including Namekians, Saiyans, and the like, and a very welcoming, helpful, and friendly community.
DRAGON BALL: BROKEN DESTINY
Before there were Super Dragon Balls. Before the multiverse. Before the cosmos was the backdrop for the adventures of Goku and gang, there was a single planet, swarming with adventure. Earth. And before Radditz and the Saiyans brought their brand of evil and announced the existence of the Dragon Balls to the universe, there were myriad of stories, enemies, zany mix ups, victories, losses, humor, and unexplored potential. Where the final battle wasn't the purpose of the story, but the journey was, that's where you'll find Dragon Ball: Broken Destiny.
When the Evil King Piccolo tried to take over the world, Muten Roshi sealed him away in a bottle, preventing his evil reign. But what if he didn't? In a world where the Evil Containment Wave failed, and King Piccolo and Master Roshi were mortally wounded, Dragon Ball: Broken Destiny explores what happens in the cracks that became from a world whose story was told differently. What happens when Piccolo Jr. steals a young Gohan, and Radditz saves the day by aiding his brother? What happens when every lost Saiyan was united by a wish on Shenron, no longer lost, scattered, alone, or enslaved? What happens when Kami decides, for the betterment of the universe, that the Dragon Balls should no longer exist? What happens when he makes that decision anyway? The rails of destiny have been destroyed. We live in a time of Broken Destiny.
Dragon Ball: Broken Destiny is a semi-literate Role Playing Game which focuses on the Earth and the factions which struggle to control it in the time 400 years after the failed sealing of Piccolo Daimao. You can play anything from your everyday average Earthling who wants to be the greatest martial artist, to a child of Piccolo Daimao, to a descendant of the great warrior race, the Saiyans or a technologically powerful android, or a demon. You can even play an Earth-stranded Tuffle.
We’re a player focused, story focused site which aims to tell great adventure stories, have humorous scenes, and revel in the adventure, martial arts, capsule-punk, wuxia masterpiece that is Dragon Ball, before it became a space alien battle manga. Broken Destiny offers a unique, earth-centric perspective, prioritizing the small, local, player driven actions, rewarding your own personal journey to the west and meaningful character development. Leave the comic aliens at the door, come explore a rich, verdant Earth and the cracks that have appeared due to the alterations of history.
If an Earth-centric, story focused, player focused Dragon Ball site set 400 years after the fall of Piccolo Daimao interests you? Check us out at: DRAGON BALL: BROKEN DESTINY!
We've recently launched the Arcosians as a playable race! We're leading up to launch our World Martial Arts Tournament event, and it's an exciting time to be apart of Broken Destiny!

The Past, The Present, or The Future… Where will your story take you?
The Past, The Present & The Future
Where am I to post? I don't understand? All will be explained, I promise. In the event of having numerous boards and begging to have this or that. We've opted for the following loose eras but are fluid:
The Past is the medieval domain of the Creatures: the vampires, werewolves, and others have kingdoms ruled by their own. The humans either submit to rule or take up with the hunters to try to attack the battlements of the strongholds.
The Present is the modern-day world as we know it, where the creatures and most gifted live in hiding or in communities that keep them safe from the Templars and the hunters.
The Future is the world of totalitarian government, dirty technology and where controlled borders are the norms. Your life is under their control... all for the greater good, of course.
We'd love to see some fresh faces and meet new friends! No word count, no app... Loads of potential!
All member boards are open for your reading pleasure and to get a feel for what we have to offer.
A note about "plots" or Era ideas... as long as your creature characters fall in line with the outlines or have contacted the staff about modify, etc. you are free to post as you like. We're an anthology board, dare I say borderline sandbox. Have fun, write, share, it's what we're here for!
Time is irrelevant anymore, lol. We have no activity checks for this reason, we're adults, and reality is far more important than posts. Please remember this. We're here for you to take a break with. Stay safe, stay well... AND Post boosts are staying on throughout the summer!!
Come take a look! We'd love to see some fresh faces and meet new friends!
We're still here and plotting. Come take a look if you're looking for an interesting concept.
All fandoms are welcome!
Marvel: Excelsior! is a MCU / Marvel Comics fandom roleplay, rated 2-2-2. We offer relaxed activity requirements and no minimum word count.
Excelsior: a Latin comparative word often translated as "ever upwards" or "even higher"; a catchphrase made famous by Stan “The Man” Lee.
Marvel: Excelsior! is a roleplay site that blends the established MCU films and TV shows (with certain tweaks, additions and exclusions), along with aspects from the 616 comic book ‘verse (most notably, the X-Men), the Deadpool movies, and FX’s Legion woven in. With all of this rich lore to build upon, our characters will largely already be familiar with each other and will already have plot points, friendships and rivalries to build upon.
We will take our characters “ever upwards” with new adventures!
Establishing a sense of community and inclusion is very important to us at Marvel: Excelsior! We want all members to be comfortable here and to feel included, no matter who they are or where they come from. This site and its Discord are meant to be a safe space where we can happily nerd out with each other, make plans that will impact our characters’ lives, and just generally have a great time with each other.
The dark lord is defeated and the wizarding world rejoices. Members of fringe movements are being rounded up and brought to justice swiftly and without prejudice. The attack on Azkaban shakes the wizarding world's newfound peace. Then again, the end is only just another beginning.
It was a mild Halloween night. The skies were clear, and the moon shone brightly. A crisp Autumn breeze trembled through the trees. In a quiet house, on a quiet street, a decade-long war was coming to a close. A Death Eater raid meant to kill Neville Longbottom, the boy named in the prophecy, ended instead with the imprisonment of several key Death Eaters, the capture of Albus Dumbledore, and the death of the Dark Lord.
The war was over, and the Ministry of Magic declared the victory as their own. The next few years were spent pursuing and prosecuting both Death Eaters and Order of the Phoenix members alike. The Death Eaters were imprisoned for violently carrying out their archaic beliefs, and the Order members, for being vigilantes acting without oversight or Ministry authorization. Peace and stability would reign again, Minister Bagnold promised, no matter what the cost.
The Azkaban breakout, orchestrated by a secret faction of disaffected purebloods, was the first attack on the Ministry’s promise . Many believed that it would be the first attack of many, and that the war, in actuality, had never truly ended .
Some fear this new reality, already damaged beyond repair from the devastation they witnessed, or in some cases, the devastation they caused themselves. Some close their eyes to it, sinking deeper into the comforting words churned out by the Ministry and the Daily Prophet. Others, still, welcome it, seeing this as their second chance at victory. This time, a victory that would be won on their own terms.

The wizarding world has enjoyed an extended period of peace, an entire fifty years without threat, and the days of the Dark Lord are all but forgotten. Only a few memories remain in history books, or in the minds of those who lived through it. For the majority, though, Dark Wizards are a thing of the past and they live happily ignorant of such atrocities and so the wizarding world grows and flourishes.
Enter the Brotherhood of Shadows, a group of wizards who have discovered an ancient branch of magic, a magic that gives them a power so intoxicating that they're consumed by it. A magic so dark that it can barely be contained...
Not sure what to put here yet
Imagine being the only Ministry-funded wizarding school in the entire country.
Yep, that's right. All the "rejects" who couldn't get into, or afford, prestigious
private schools end up at Tallygarunga. It's always been that way, and we're
proud of it. Lately, the love-hate relationship between school and Ministry is
getting rockier, and that's not all that is going downhill...
